The Cincinnati Bengals resumed their recent trend of attending Pro Days by going to the LSU Pro Day on Tuesday.

The Bengals have a history of success with LSU players, as evidenced by Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Seeing as how excellent this group is, the team sent staff members in to take a closer look.

It also makes perfect sense that they dispatched the coaches. Troy Walters, the wide receivers coach, and Marion Hobby, the defensive line coach, traveled together.

Could the Bengals use the 18th pick to choose LSU wideout Brian Thomas Jr. while Tee Higgins’ trade request is pending?

While he was working, Malik Nabers had little to no chance of being selected by the Bengals. Thomas Jr. might be available, and a combination with Chase might be intriguing.

Hobby was presumably tuned in during drills since the Bengals could be interested in Mekhi Wingo and Jordan Jefferson, two defensive line targets. The Bengals still require a nose tackle, and you can never have too many defensive lineman in your rotation in the modern NFL.

The NFL Draft is less than a month away, and Pro Days are coming to an end. As the Bengals schedule pre-draft meetings with prospects in the coming weeks, we may find out more about the players they may target.
