These are the terms of some of the most recent agreements reached around the league.
- Calvin Ridley, WR (Titans). Four years, $92MM. In addition to his $20MM signing bonus, Ridley will see his first two base salaries ($4.5MM, $22,5MM) fully guaranteed. If on Tennessee’s roster by Day 5 of the 2025 league year, Ridley will receive a $3.02MM guarantee for his 2026 base salary ($20.24MM), per OverTheCap. If Ridley remains on Tennessee’s roster by Day 5 of the 2026 league year, he will earn a $1MM bonus. This still stands to give the Titans some 2026 flexibility.
- Jerry Jeudy, WR (Browns). Three years, $52.5MM. The recently traded wideout’s base value, as expected, checks in lower than the initial numbers. The ex-Denver target will see guarantees into his the deal’s third year, with SI.com’s Albert Breer noting $6MM will be guaranteed for 2026. Jeudy received $41MM guaranteed at signing.
- Samuel Curtis, WR (Bills). $24 million over three years. At the time of signing, the Bills are guaranteeing $5MM of Samuel’s $6.91MM base pay for 2025. Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 tweets that there’s a guarantee of injuries for the entire ’25 base. On Day 5 of the 2026 league season, Samuel will get a $1MM roster bonus; his $6.51MM 2026 salary is not guaranteed.
Simpson, John G. (Jets). $12 million over two years. This amount is a little less than the deal’s maximum value of $18MM, which was first stated. Simpson is guaranteed $6 million, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. To stretch out the cap hits, the Jets employed three vacant years; in 2024, the fifth-year guard will be paid $3.2MM by New York.
DT Folorunso Fatukasi (Texans). $5.2MM in a year. Jacksonville’s last cut will get $4.6 million. - Brown, Trent (Trent, Bengals). $4.75 million in a year. The veteran lineman will receive a guaranteed $2MM in addition to $1MM in roster incentives per game and a workout bonus of $250K, according to OverTheCap. Brown is accustomed to bonus-laden contracts; in fact, weight clauses were included in his last two Patriots contracts.
Thomas Solomon, DL (Jets). $3 million in a year. According to Cimini, the Jets have guaranteed the former third overall pick $2.5MM.
S. Michael Edwards (Bills). $2.8MM in a year. ProFootballNetwork.com’s Adam Caplan tweets that the former safety for Tampa Bay and Kansas City may make up to $4 million on his Buffalo contract. He is subject to the $2.8MM Bills cap.Barton, Cody (LB, Broncos). $2.46 million in a year. The veteran will join the Broncos.
- linebacker for over $1 million less than the 2023 Commanders paid. According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, Denver is guaranteeing $2.33MM of the agreement.
Texan Desmond King, CB. $1.8MM in a year. Wilson tweets that a veteran slot cornerback/return man’s contract may top out at $2.2MM.
