Ryan Clark Predicts Cowboys Will Draft Top QB Prospect Next Year

The Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 NFL season officially came to an end when they lost to the upstart Green Bay Packers under Jordan Love in the NFL Playoffs. Despite this setback, the team and longtime owner Jerry Jones announced that star quarterback Dak Prescott would receive a lucrative long-term contract extension.

Given that Prescott has repeatedly failed to lead the Cowboys to victories in the postseason and is still unable to establish himself as the team’s starting quarterback in the NFL playoffs, Jones and the Cowboys brass appeared to have made a dubious choice in selecting him.
But, they missed the opportunity to reach an agreement with Prescott before the NFL free agency period began, which would have allowed them to conserve money and give the Cowboys some compensation to work with in free agency.

Prescott’s future after the 2024 season now seems uncertain as the organization may allow him to depart in free agency. This has sparked considerable conjecture about what the team would do in Prescott’s absence.

NFL legend Deion Sanders, according to ESPN’s Ryan Clark, may help his son Shedeur Sanders get selected by the Cowboys in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Cowboys need to start considering the future of the quarterback position in Dallas since there are a lot of things that might happen in a year that would affect their position and goals.
It remains to be seen how things work out for the Cowboys and whether Shedeur Sanders ends up being Prescott’s replacement in Dallas.
