Philippe Coutinho: Aston Villa transfer news is “Huge.”

According to insiders that spoke with Football Insider, Philippe Coutinho will leave Aston Villa this summer because he is not included in Unai Emery’s plans for the team.

According to insiders, Coutinho, 31, is no longer a possibility for Emery to work with because he has “no way back” at Villa Park as an attacking midfielder.

After a loan stint in the Qatar Stars League with Al-Duhail, where he scored three goals and dished out two assists in 16 games, a return to his native Brazil appears imminent.

But returning to Brazil would probably require Villa to reach an agreement whereby they would have to pay a substantial portion of what is thought to be a “huge” wage, which would be included in a contract that would last until 2026.

This summer, Philippe Coutinho will go from Aston Villa.
Villa had a great season and qualified for the Champions League while he was away from the team, and Emery’s choices for replacing Coutinho were excellent.

Nowadays, wide players like Moussa Diaby, Leon Bailey, and Morgan Rodgers fill in, while more experienced midfielders like John McGinn, Youri Tielemans, and Jacob Ramsey play in the middle.

Before completing a £17 million permanent transfer to Villa from Barcelona in 2022, Coutinho made 43 appearances for the team during his original loan period.

His six goals and three assists during that period proved to be insufficient, and he was loaned out to Al-Duhail.

Philippe Coutinho signs a long-term contract to join Aston Villa from Barcelona.
Steven Gerrard said, “It is incredible to work at a club that executes its business so decisively.” Philippe Coutinho, a Brazil international, signed a four-year contract with Aston Villa after joining the team on a six-month loan in January.
