Though people of such stature and ruthlessness aren’t exactly known for abruptly changing their minds at the last minute, it’s also possible that the wealthy businessman has already made up his mind.

Romano asserted on X on Monday morning that Ten Hag and Manchester United had reached a “crucial” stage, with internal discussions starting today and a decision on Ten Hag’s future expected this week.
Regardless of the veracity of the aforementioned rumors about Ten Hag’s impending dismissal, United’s plans may have changed. Ten Hag has undoubtedly impressed recently, handling the rumors well and leading his team to FA Cup triumph.

There are differing views among Red Devils supporters on the 54-year-old’s tenure as manager. Some believe he has done enough to be granted this privilege, particularly in light of his season-long injury struggles.

However, given the number of devastating losses and appalling performances that United has had over the previous 12 months, some may still believe that Ten Hag is not the right person to lead United back to the top of the English league.
