Aston Villa fans will face a match-day ticket charge rise

Next season, Villa supporters who want to attend high-profile Premier League matches will have to pay a minimum of £50.

After two years of significant price increases, the club has announced that season tickets will increase by 5%; however, this will be slightly mitigated by a higher increase in the cost of individual match tickets.

The club’s fan advisory council recently heard an announcement that match ticket prices would increase by 12% on average.

For the eight Premier League games this season that fall under category A, the lowest priced adult ticket was £48, while the most expensive was £68. As part of the revised pricing structure, both are now anticipated to increase to more than £50 and £70.

There will be Category A matches including the Big Six, Newcastle, and Wolves.

Villa, who qualified for Europe’s elite club competition for the first time in forty years, will also host four Champions League group stage matches.

Fans have been informed that these games will be combined, and buying tickets for all four games would probably not result in a discount.
