Aston Villa star ‘decides to leave’ as Wolves set to cash in on European ‘interest’

The most recent information about Wolves and Aston Villa as summer approaches.

Even though the Premier League season is finished, there will be a tonne of football to enjoy this summer, including Euro 2024 and the Champions League final on Saturday night. In relation to the Champions League, Aston Villa will be gearing up for the upcoming campaign as they aim to advance to UEFA’s top league.

Regarding the Wolves, Gary O’Neill’s team had a strong campaign last year and intends to improve upon it the following season. We have compiled all of the most recent information about Villa and Wolves in the meantime.

To be sold is chiquinho.

Despite Chiquinho’s stellar loan season last year, Wolves are reportedly aiming to sell him this season. The 24-year-old will be free to depart, according to Record, despite rumours that Sporting CP is interested.

In the previous season, Chiquinho made 27 appearances for Famalicão, contributing four assists and five goals. It’s reported that interest in Portugal is increasing, and Wolves are predicted to seize the opportunity.

Luiz ‘decision’

Douglas Luiz, a standout for Aston Villa, is rumoured to want to leave this summer. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian has chosen to take on a new challenge before the upcoming campaign, with Juventus purportedly being one of the interested clubs.

Luiz’s departure before the upcoming campaign would be devastating for Unai Emery, but if he does, the Brazilian would fetch a high price and help Villa locate a replacement. Villa reportedly has Weston McKennie and Matias Soule under consideration.

Alan Hutton thinks Villa could be able to sign Crystal Summerville, a star for Leeds United, this summer. “He’s had an outstanding season hasn’t he?” he said to Villa News. His stats are really amazing. After coming so close to being promoted, he undoubtedly wants to push himself to the limit, and I’m sure he’ll want to play in the Premier League.

“The fans of Leeds won’t appreciate me saying that, and I apologise, but regrettably, that is the reality.” They will undoubtedly take a closer look at it if Villa approaches them with a £30 million bid since they will need to balance the books. Though I believe he may fit in with that Villa club and provide them with another alternative, they won’t want to lose him. Don’t get me wrong, Morgan Rogers has performed admirably, Jacob Ramsey is on staff, along with Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey; they have plenty of choices, but that’s what the Premier League requires.

“I think he could really improve Summerville as a player; he has the potential to go to the next level and he’s been outstanding with what Unai Emery did for Rogers.”
