Sean Dyche told Jarrad Branthwaite and Everton duo ‘will go’ in £80m summer transfer exodus

Sam Matterface reports that Everton will offload Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jordan Pickford, and Jarrad Branthwaite during the summer transfer window.

It is believed that in order to try to balance the books at Goodison Park and prevent suffering a potential third-point deduction the following season, the Toffees will need to sell one of their more prized assets this month.
TalkSPORT broadcaster Matterface thinks the Toffees would be fortunate to get that kind of price for all three players combined, despite Sean Dyche’s team valuing Branthwaite alone at almost £80 million [The Independent, 30 May].

On Sunday, June 2, at 13:42, he made the following statement on talkSPORT: “They’re not going to sell that many players surely? Pickford will most likely depart, Branthwaite will go, and Calvert-Lewin will go.

“They may receive up to £80 million for all three,”

Will Everton sell Jarrad Branthwaite during the summer transfer window at Goodison Park?

Everyone in the football world knows that Everton needs to sell players in order to stay afloat during this summer’s window, therefore the team’s present financial situation may be one of the worst-kept secrets in the game.

Even so, given how highly they regard players like Branthwaite, it still seems doubtful that the Blues will allow some of their most valuable players to leave the team for practically nothing in the upcoming weeks and months.
Given that Calvert-Lewin is nearing the end of his contract, he may be permitted to depart if the appropriate amount is paid. However, there are rumors that the Toffees have already started the process of binding him to a new contract [TEAMTalk, May 29].

Pickford is undoubtedly a target for a number of teams. Given his pivotal role in keeping Everton in the Premier League in recent years, it is improbable that Dyche and those in higher positions would accept a lowball offer for him.

Even if the situation may seem a little dire right now, it doesn’t seem likely that the Toffees will be taken advantage of in the transfer market.
