The most recent team to be reported to have interest in Sevilla star Youssef En-Nesyri is Tottenham Hotspur.
The La Liga team has designated the Morocco international as one of their alternatives to earn money before June 30th. His contract is set to expire in 2025.
In the summer transfer window, Tottenham is interested in acquiring the striker. According to journalist Santi Ortega, there’s “a lot of movement” surrounding the 27-year-old, as reported by Radio Sevilla and carried by Carrusel Deportivo.
All Ortega has to say about Spurs is that they are “pushing to take” the Sevilla player to the Premier League. He continues, saying the Andalusian team is seeking to get close to €30 million for the player’s sale.
There is clearly some confusion regarding valuation as Marca claimed on Monday that En-Nesyri and his entourage had decided to switch clubs and that Sevilla had set a starting price of €20 million.
At Sevilla, Julen Lopetegui oversaw En-Nesyri, and it’s said that he’s eager to work with him again at West Ham United. Vamos Mi Sevilla FC said last week that Aston Villa has entered the race for the Moroccan.
Tottenham is the newest team to enter the race, and En-Nesyri, who finished the just concluded season with 20 goals and three assists, may face competition from the Premier League trio.
