CELTIC TOLD IF BRENDAN RODGERS PULLS OFF SHOCKING TRANSFER IT WILL ‘EXCITE EVERYONE’ Amir Mir Amir Mir

Brendan Rodgers and Celtic are anticipating a significant summer transfer.

Celtic supporters made their emotions known to the board during the recently ended season when they chanted “sack the board” during the team’s loss to Hearts during the winter.

Even if Celtic managed to win the Scottish Premiership, you can tell that the authorities are under a lot of pressure to support Rodgers by making the correct acquisitions.

On the one hand, the Bhoys are completely in control of domestic affairs; despite a season marred by some subpar outings, they managed to win two trophies, one of which was a Scottish Cup final victory over Rangers.

On the other hand, because they want to see advancement in the Champions League, they want to see greater ambition in the transfer market.
Replacing Joe Hart in goal after his retirement at the end of the season is one area Celtic will be focusing on this summer.

After leaving Manchester United in the summer, David de Gea is still a free agent. Andy Walker believes there is a potential to get him in, as he stated on Go Radio.

Walker asserted that a goalie with 55 appearances in Europe’s top league might be drawn to the Champions League.

Many people are shocked that De Gea, 33, hasn’t signed with a new team yet. Walker said that a deal for the Spanish player might “work for all parties” and that it would “excite everyone.”

David de Gea to replace Joe Hart at Celtic?

“Well, beyond the contract,” Walker remarked. “One of the best things about visiting Celtic right now is that they can offer the Champions League to any player.” That’s what many guys find attractive.

“I am aware that over his career, De Gea has earned absurd amounts of money. However, since he is unattached, it might work out for everyone. Still, I wouldn’t rule out a huge acquisition for Celtic—certainly someone with a name, and de Gea has undoubtedly got the kind of name that would thrill everyone.

Celtic’s goalkeeping situation

It will be intriguing to watch whatever path Celtic take, as some may suggest signing a young goalkeeper.

However, after struggling for several years and being in his late 30s, Ange Postecoglou recruited Hart from Tottenham when he was in the dugout and needed a shot-stopper.

Hart gave the squad many years of excellence, including a Triple Crown, thus the organization doesn’t really need to add a younger player.

Whatever happens, Rodgers will need a goalkeeper who can play out of the back and maintain composure when in control if he is to succeed the next season.
