Gordon Strachan names the one Celtic player he says was ‘uncoachable’

The great thing about being a Celtic supporter is that the fans have had the opportunity to watch some of the best players in the world don the green and white Hoops.

The variety of talent that the Hoops’ fan base has had the honor of witnessing demonstrate their abilities in Paradise has left them spoilt, ranging from the Lisbon Lions to the contemporary age of Henrik Larsson and Lubo Moravcik.

However, there was a guy who wore the jersey and became somewhat of a cult legend among the supporters—a player who, every time he on the field, gave Gordon Strachan nightmares.

How Thomas Gravesen was ‘uncoachable’ at Celtic

When the former Celtic manager paid £2 million to Real Madrid for Gravesen, he made transfer history. The legendary Danish player was the La Liga team’s first-ever transfer acquisition, and it appears that Strachan got more than he paid for.

Thomas is a really pleasant individual with excellent skill and fit, but he is uncoachable, according to Strachan [No Tippy Tappy Football].
