Celtic talks ongoing but deal now under threat as club turn attention to £5m man

Regarding his future at Parkhead, one player of this Celtic team feels that the events of the past week have left him with more questions than answers.

Adam Idah, the international player for the Republic of Ireland, acknowledges that he has no idea where he will be working in 2024–2025. Speaking through Pink ‘Un, Idah stated, “I’m still contracted to Norwich and have four years left there.” Pre-season kicks off soon. “As it stands, I’m still returning to Norwich. I had a quick conversation with Norwich regarding my return schedule.” Since we’re now on internationals and approaching our summer holidays, it can be challenging in the beginning of the window. I’ve never encountered this circumstance before, so I’m not too familiar with how it operates.
Over his loan at Celtic in the second half of the previous season, Idah was a revelation. Nine goals in 19 games, including a few very important ones. He has three times helped Celtic win matches in stoppage time, including one at Hampden Park. Without him, a domestic double very well could have turned into a campaign without any trophies. Uncertainty over Adam Idah’s Celtic future But is Idah coming back? HITC is aware that the amount that Norwich wants to receive and the amount that Celtic want to pay differ by £3 million. Johannes Hoff Thorup, the new coach of the Canaries, is eager to evaluate Idah before making a choice.
The 23-year-old Cork native continues, “Look, I’m still at Norwich and I have four years at Norwich.” “My parent club, and I have no idea what’s going on,” But it’s not Idah to whom we were alluding in that, to be honest, rather confusing first paragraph. Oh Hyeon-Gyu’s personal future seems unclear, maybe due to the ambiguity surrounding Idah’s future. Celtic may not be willing to approve the departure of one striker until they have a clearer picture a replacement thoroughly examined. After Idah came in January, the £2.5 million South Korean made very little appearances. Oh was actually only in one of Brendan Rodgers’ final eleven Premiership matchday lineups.

According to Sky Sports, KRC Genk reportedly recently submitted a £4 million bid, meaning Celtic may still turn a profit. However, Oh is in limbo until The Hoops hear back on Idah, so there’s a good chance the former Suwon Bluewings forward feels like he missed out on a possible fresh start in the Belgian Jupiler League. Genk is now considering other options.
Het Belang van Limburg claims that although Genk is “still negotiating with Celtic,” they have now decided to pursue Roberto Fernandez of Malagan. In addition to having a far better season than Oh, Fernandez prove that he can score goals. He receives several kinds of objectives. He moves really well in the box and can handle stressful situations. He sniffed in and out of the box like a true number nine (in the cup fina).

He’s been tremendously helpful to us, and it’s obvious that I want to work with him. I’ve noticed growth in him, and player improvement is the main goal of the game. I simply feel that Adam has such a lofty potential.”
