Newcastle United star has claimed that he would beat Man City’s Kyle Walker in a race

Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has a reputation for being one of the fastest players in the world.

Thierry Henry stated on CBS Sports (via Goal) during that season that opponents might as well not bother challenging Walker in a foot sprint because of his speed.

Anthony Gordon says he’d back himself in a race against Kyle Walker

Not many players would admit to being able to beat Walker in a race

To emphasize Walker’s remarkable speed even more, Sam Allardyce remarked last month that, considering his age, he finds it hard to believe the 34-year-old moves that quickly in the Premier League.

Furthermore, when asked what makes the right-back such a unique talent back in September, Pep Guardiola said as follows to TNT Sports.

Considering everything, we believe that Gordon’s assertion that he could defeat Walker in a race will cause some people to take notice.
