In an expanded collaboration, BetMGM UK has stepped up to become Newcastle United FC’s official betting partner.

Under the improved agreement, St James’ Park, the home stadium of Newcastle United, will have the betting brand owned by LeoVegas Group displayed on its big screens, LEDs, and static boards.

“Our BetMGM partnership with Newcastle United has been a success, and we are delighted to continue building on this fruitful collaboration,” said Sam Behar, UK Director of BetMGM.

“The club’s motivation is exactly in line with our group’s core beliefs, and they have enormous ambitions. I’m eager for the season to begin and to watch Newcastle United carry on with their progress.

The Premier League team has also announced that supporters and patrons may expect to participate in a range of partnership events, like as prizes and special experiences.

Newcastle United’s chief commercial officer, Peter Silverstone, continued, “Newcastle United and BetMGM have had an exceptional first year together.”

“We have assisted BetMGM in achieving its goal of creating the best igaming experience globally by increasing brand recognition and engagement in important regions.

“This new agreement is evidence of the impact the club’s publicity and assistance have had on BetMGM, and we are thrilled to strengthen our mutual support as we embark on these exciting new adventures.”

This agreement expands on the mutually beneficial first year of business, which was revealed in September 2023 and contributed to BetMGM’s rise to prominence in the UK and throughout Europe.

The main reason for this was Newcastle’s Champions League involvement; the team won’t be playing in the league this year.

Notably, Wolverhampton Wanderers, a team in the Premier League, also became BetMGM their official European betting partner this week.

With this two-year agreement, the operator will have even more visibility in the English premier league thanks to BetMGM branding on the double row pitch-side LED advertising system at Molineux Stadium, interview backdrops, and other locations around Compton Park.
