Everton ‘start moving’ around Premier League striker ahead of tonight’s PSR deadline

Everton are reportedly interested in the Chelsea forward.

According to sources, Everton has “started moving” toward a possible signing of Armando Broja.

A number of clubs may have to sell before the June 30th financial deadline for Premier League profit and sustainability regulations.

One player who Chelsea would apparently be willing to let go is Broja. The striker, who came through Fulham’s youth and played for the west London club during the second part of the previous season, would be considered “pure profit” under financial regulations.

Everton might be looking to add a new nine to their lineup. Newcastle United had expressed interest in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but that interest has now cooled. However, Beto and Fenerbahce have been linked in stories, and Sean Dyche might prefer a different candidate to battle for the center-forward position at Goodison Park.

Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano (via Chelsea Chronicle) claims that Everton is one team interested in signing Broja and that there may be “some movement” around the international player from Albania. “I’ve heard several clubs are interested in Armando Broja, so keep a close eye on him,” Romano stated.

“Clubs like Everton and others have been circling Armando Broja in the last 24 to 48 hours, so there may be movement this weekend.” We are aware that this weekend is critical for many clubs in terms of financial fair play.
