Kevin Thelwell could now secure Tammy Abraham transfer at Everton after Fabrizio Romano update

Everton have had a busier start to the summer transfer window than most expected, with serval players moving in and out of Goodison Park

Between now and the start of the Premier League season, Sean Dyche is eager to bolster his team, especially in the forward positions. While no deals seem imminent, a new number nine will probably be on the horizon.

As Dominic Calvert-Lewin approaches the last year of his Merseyside contract, rumors over his future persist, with some speculating that the former England international might not sign a new contract.

Dyche and Kevin Thelwell will need a new striker if he departs, and Tammy Abraham of Roma, who is supposedly available, has been mentioned as a possible candidate to join Goodison this summer [Corriere Della Sera, June 17].

There are other teams interested in signing the former Chelsea player besides Everton, according to a recent update from Fabrizio Romano, meaning that Thelwell still has a chance to sign him.

“Despite links with AC Milan, nothing is advanced yet regarding Tammy Abraham’s future,” Romano wrote in his Daily Briefing on Sunday, June 30.

“However, I still anticipate the former Chelsea striker leaving Roma—possibly to rejoin an Italian team or go back to England. It’s quiet right now, but there will definitely be movement.

Will Everton sign Tammy Abraham in summer transfer window at Goodison Park?

Although a transfer to Milan doesn’t appear to be imminent, it appears that other teams are in the running to sign him away from Roma this summer, with an exit anticipated.

Once the PSR deadline has passed, Premier League clubs will have more financial flexibility, and if the Toffees are serious about Abraham, they will have the chance to re-sign him.

It remains to be seen if Thelwell and his team would pursue this transaction, but as of right now, it appears like a transfer that might happen sooner rather than later.
