Elliott Anderson, a talented midfield player for Newcastle United, is the most recent player expected to leave the team. It was revealed late last night that Anderson is headed to Nottingham Forest.

David Ornstein of The Athletic disclosed that we have now struck an agreement that will see Anderson depart for the City Ground, after his confirmation that we have agreed to a £33 million deal to sell Yankuba Minteh to Brighton.

Although the amount paid has not yet been disclosed, Ornstein notes that Newcastle made another reluctant sell, with Anderson and Minteh leaving due to our requirement to adhere to PSR on the last day of the fiscal year.

Minteh is scheduled to finish his physical at Brighton today, and Forest has scheduled Anderson’s test as well. Anderson opted to switch from Newcastle to Nottingham despite having just broken into Eddie Howe’s starting lineup.

Anthony Elanga of Forest might be heading in the other direction as a result of the partial exchange that Newcastle is reportedly in talks about. However, Anderson’s move is final, and it’s not yet obvious if we’ll pursue our interest in the Swedish winger.

If that’s the case, Eli’s injury hurts more than Minkeh’s. There are still concerns about Minkeh’s ability to contribute in this situation, but Eli appeared prepared for a squad duty and filled a homegrown position.
Speaking generally, of course, not particularly about us, but with all this PSR****, I can’t recall ever seeing a window that looked worse. The fact that all of these obstacles that were thrown in our path are hurting everyone is a minor success, though. enchanting sensations of chopping off your nose to spite your face
