According to Football Insider, Raphinha from Barcelona is a player that Newcastle United is interested in signing.

The 27-year-old forward in La Liga is hesitant to leave Barcelona during this transfer window, but events can force him to alter his intentions.

The Magpies have chosen to support Eddie Howe throughout the summer transfer window, and they are hoping to bolster their roster with new players.

Newcastle is hoping to bring in new players who can help them reach new heights after suffering from injuries and missing out on Champions League qualification the previous season.

Howe wants to bolster his team’s defense with more players, as well as add strikers and wide players.

Newcastle is aggressively seeking to sign players in Callum Wilson and Miguel Almiron’s positions as they aim to replace them this summer.

Raphinha was a fan favorite while he played for Leeds United, drawing interest from the top teams in the world thanks to his Premier League exploits for the Whites.

The Brazilian international was being pursued by Arsenal and Chelsea, but ultimately he chose to complete a £55 million deal to join Spanish powerhouse Barcelona (via Sky Sports).

If Barcelona chooses to sell Raphinha, they will have the funds to bring in a new player to strengthen the attacking line.

Although the Brazilian prefers to play on the right flank, the former Leeds star was forced to play on the left after Lamine Yamal’s rise to prominence.

Now that Yamal is a member of the squad, the Catalans want to make money off of Raphinha in order to pay for a new acquisition.

Williams has been the club’s apparent objective for some time now, and if they wish to pay the estimated €50 million to get him, they will undoubtedly need to reduce their wage budget.

At this point, it’s unclear if Williams is personally drawn to a transfer to Barcelona or to any of the several other teams who have reportedly expressed interest in signing him.
