Newcastle United are set to have their kits and training gear supplied by Adidas from 2024-25 onwards
Newcastle United fans were in complete shock when they saw Eddie Howe wearing stylish Adidas training gear on the team’s media channel.
On his first day back, the Toon boss wore a black tracksuit with gray accents. Ahead of the 2024–25 season, Newcastle players—aside from those who have just represented their nations—returned to preseason training yesterday.
After club officials reached a multi-year agreement for around £40 million, they may anticipate Newcastle to be outfitted in Adidas for the upcoming season. From 1995 to 2010, the Magpies received iconic designs from the German sports giant; this partnership has since been resumed.
When the 2024–25 home shirt went on sale last month, hundreds of Newcastle supporters waited outside the makeshift pop-up store. Although the third and away uniforms have not yet been revealed, fans are anticipating launches of items other than football shirts.
Adidas is renowned for producing fashionable clothing for daily use; hoodies, t-shirts, and jackets featuring Newcastle-related graphics have not yet been revealed. But when a photo of Howe was uploaded on the club’s media account, supporters got a sneak peek at what was to come.
The 46-year-old, who is still experiencing breezy July weather in Tyneside, was beaming as he led his first training session of the campaign while wearing a tidy tracksuit. Based on the responses on social media, it appears that the design is popular among fans.
One remark said, “Now that’s training gear I can get on board with.” “Sell me this jacket immediately!” wrote another.
