Newcastle United’s new away and third kits have been leaked ahead of officially going on sale in the coming weeks.

After home kit sales spiked at the beginning of June, Newcastle supporters are eagerly awaiting the release of both shirts. The return of Adidas, valued at an estimated £30 million to the club, continues to spark huge excitement; the German sportswear giants previously designed some of the most iconic kits between 1995 and 2010.

The 1995–96 away kit, which had horizontal blue and red stripes with a white accent, is reminiscent of the 2024–25 away kit design. The revamped Adidas logo and the Sela sponsor will be the main changes. There’s also a monochromatic white Newcastle crest in the same design.

Though the socks are maroon and the shorts are blue, it’s thought that the away uniform was inadvertently placed on sale over the weekend at Adidas’ New York shop (see below).

With its white, black, and green color palette and pattern evoking Newcastls 1999–2000 away jersey, the third kit is equally nostalgic. The most noticeable alteration, though, is the addition of the club crest that was in use from 1983 until 1988.

The third jersey was for sale on JD’s Australia website, much as the away shirt. The Toon Under Podcast preserved the images before they were deleted.

August is when the shirt is anticipated to go on sale.
