Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move away from the Magpies this summer – however, he is closing in on a Benton training return.
The England player, who has had a busy few years for Gordon, has hinted at his impending return to Tyneside by posting pictures from his well-earned summer vacation.
Additionally, a number of well-known figures, including a Real Madrid Champions League winner, have shown their support to the forward connected to Liverpool.
Gordon has hardly had time to relax over the past two years, having been a key player in England’s victory at the Under-21 Euros last summer and then being a member of the supporting group when his nation advanced to the senior Euros this summer.
Interspersed with it was a relentless fight for the Magpies, during which Gordon became as not just one of Eddie Howe’s finest players but also among his fittest and most dependable choices.
Thus, it came as no surprise that Howe, along with seasoned defender Kieran Trippier, who participated in all of England’s Euro 2024 matches except for the team’s final loss to Spain last month, gave the player a little more time than others to relax and heal this summer.
Many well-known accounts hopped on to support the player after uploading the photos, which provide a glimpse into Gordon’s summertime adventures.
Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid left a heartfelt remark in the comments, and Josh Denzel, a former Love Islander and England interviewer, seemed to allude to the player’s time spent at the summer camp in Germany as well as Gordon’s photo of a padel court, saying: “Second set king.”
Wayne Routledge and Elliot Anderson, two former Newcastle players, as well as sponsor Adidas, who stated, “The preds,” along with a heart-eyes emoji, also left positive words in the comments section.
Gordon is anticipated to rejoin the United team this week and participate in at least one of the two friendly that take place over the weekend as part of the team’s Sela Weekender.
