After finding a new sponsor this summer, Newcastle United’s international player is assisting them in finding allies along the way.
Newcastle United has secured the support of yet another significant sponsor to ease any potential PSR strain at St James’ Park. The Magpies concluded an agreement to develop a multi-year collaboration with the online financial trading site VT Markets during their time in Japan. The broker from Australia becomes the official financial trading partner of the club.
“VT Markets will use Newcastle United’s global reach and exposure to build its brand in multiple international markets,” a statement from Newcastle stated. Newcastle United joins the growing list of Formula E teams that VT Markets supports, along with Maserati MSG Racing.
“We’re proud that VT Markets views Newcastle United as the ideal partner to support and elevate its ambitious global growth plans,” stated Peter Silverstone, chief of commercial operations.
“Our recent pre-season visit to Japan marked the beginning of our adventure together. The incredible support from our Japanese fans as well as the devoted backing of Newcastle United fans who traveled from the UK, Asia, and Australasia to watch their club were evident to VT Markets.
This helps to showcase the club’s attractiveness on a worldwide scale, which draws in partners such as VT Markets. Not only did we welcome over 50,000 fans for our two matches in Japan, but we also had an incredible reaction to our fan interaction and commercial activations, with our digital engagement rising by 180% over the tour.
“We are delighted to welcome another internationally recognised partner to our club and look forward to working closely with VT Markets.”
“We are extremely excited about this partnership with Newcastle United, a team that exemplifies the same drive for excellence and innovation that we strive for at VT Markets,” said Agustin Bilinskis, Head of Strategy Operations, APAC, at VT Market. The partnership is a testament to VT Markets’ commitment to building international relationships and empowering people via easily accessible trading possibilities.”
“VT Markets, which was founded in 2015, is present in more than 160 countries and provides access to over 1,000 financial tools to users worldwide through its website and mobile application.
“During the club’s preseason trip to Japan, a formal gift exchange between the two sides marked the official beginning of the alliance. A Newcastle United shirt with the number 77, which is very important to VT, was given to representatives of VT Markets.”
