Newcastle United could seal the signing of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke with a £30million bid, sources have told Football Insider.

Senior writer Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider reported that Newcastle is still keeping an eye on the 22-year-old in an interview for the most recent episode of the Inside Track podcast.

Regarding this possible move, the Magpies don’t have a financial concern; instead, they must fight PSR to prevent any possible point deductions.

Newcastle might think about taking a player on loan rather than investing £30 million, as Chelsea is in a rush to remove players off the books before the deadline.

A right-winger is a key priority for the Magpies, who might include an obligation to purchase into a possible loan deal.

Although Michael Olise had been Newcastle’s primary choice for this role, the Premier League team was unable to match Bayern Munich.

Newcastle could sign Noni Madueke to help Eddie Howe

Howe has been requesting to bring someone in over the summer, so he expects that funding will be made available for a right-winger before the deadline of August 31st.

Madueke’s playing time may be restricted in the upcoming season under Enzo Maresca owing to the arrival of Pedro Neto by Chelsea.

The Chelsea winger and the Magpies have reached a personal terms agreement, as previously reported by Football Insider.

With the Blues, Madueke has made 49 appearances and scored nine goals.

One player who the club will not be pursuing is Adrien Rabiot, who is available on a free transfer after his Juventus deal ended. Football Insider revealed that the Magpies aren’t in the market for a central midfielder right now and will pass up the chance to sign him.
