Odysseas Vlachodimos was always an odd arrival, coming from Nottingham Forest as part of a PSR deal that saw Elliot Anderson go in the other direction.

The Greek international may go on loan from Newcastle United, according to Alan Nixon, six weeks after his unexpected departure from the City Ground.

Vlachodimos, who was first reported to have joined Newcastle for “a small fee,” really paid more than £20 million for his services, which ensured that Forest supported us with Anderson and that neither team was in violation.

The majority of fans now realize that Vlachodimos was never truly meant to be Nick Pope’s long-term number two and that it was unquestionably a “PSR deal.”

His gunpoint reveal video resembled a recent Love Island visitor revelation. There was no significant press release, first-day training video, or genuine excitement for Vlachodimos. He barely saw action throughout the preseason and wasn’t even included in the starting lineup on game day. Howe, however, chose to start Dubravka, the guy Vlachodimos was meant to replace.

It appears that Vlachodimos will now go on loan, most likely so Newcastle can pay his salary and call it a day. Newcastle would probably then rekindle their interest in Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, because Dubravka is still anticipated to go. who, ironically, was “ill” yesterday as Burnley defeated Cardiff 5-0.
