Galicia Press claims that Yago Santiago, who left Tottenham earlier this summer, is already winning over the Elche supporters with his outstanding performances thus far in the season.

In Spanish football circles, Santiago was considered a potential talent from an early age, therefore Spurs’ 2019 signing of him from Celta Vigo was considered a major coup.
But even though the young player made an impression in the younger levels and had a few standout Under-21 seasons, he was never able to push his way into the North London club’s starting lineup.
The winger finally lost patience and chose to move from Hotspur Way to Elche this summer in an effort to get consistent playing time. Thus far, his choice has shown to be wise.
Santiago is already shining over in Spain
For his new team, Santiago has made three starts in the Spanish second division thus far. He scored in the 3-1 victory over Cordoba.
According to Galicia Press, the former Spurs player is “one of the great sensations” of the season thus far and could not have started his stay at Estadio Martinez Valero Stadium any better.
The winger is reportedly winning over his new supporters, according to the magazine, which suggests that he will likely play a significant role for the team this season.
