The Raiders overcame the defending AFC North champions 26–23 by rallying to score the game’s last 13 points. Daniel Carlson’s field goal in the last minute provided the game-winning points, while the Ravens’ final chance to win or tie was unsuccessful.
Ravens’ Derrick Henry admits that Raiders were better team
“They were the superior group. Henry stated, “That’s why they prevailed. “When it was necessary, we didn’t make the plays.”
Following a 16-6 lead early in the third quarter and holding the Raiders to just 43 yards in the first half—their lowest total since 2015—Baltimore struggled to move the ball later in the game and was unable to stop the Raiders from scoring.
Wide receiver Davante Adams of the Raiders was instrumental in the team’s victory. In the fourth quarter, he grabbed a touchdown, pulled in four catches for 86 yards, and was called for pass interference in the end zone on back-to-back scoring drives. Adams ended with 110 yards and nine catches.
Although the Raiders struggled to run the ball, Gardner Minshew was able to establish a successful connection with rookie tight end Brock Bowers.
Despite being behind by ten points, the Raiders made progress of 45 yards to Baltimore’s 25-yard line on their opening drive of the second half, which included a 25-yard pass to Bowers.

Running back Alexander Mattison’s 1-yard touchdown run narrowed the Ravens’ advantage to three points following that fumble.
In response, Baltimore scored a touchdown of their own, thanks to a 3-yard touchdown run by Derrick Henry. But in the end, their 10-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter evaporated.
On the following drive for Las Vegas, Carlson missed another field goal, and Davante Adams caught a 1-yard touchdown throw from Gardner Minshew II. The score was set up by a pass interference call on Brandon Stephens, which tied the game at 23.
Ravens’ struggles continuing in the fourth quarter
After Jordan Stout’s 24-yard punt gave the Raiders solid field position and Baltimore’s offense stalled once more, Las Vegas went 23 yards in six plays, setting up Carlson for the game-winning attempt.
Throughout the whole game, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens faced difficulties because to the Raider defense. Maxx Crosby, who had two sacks and four tackles for loss, was especially bothersome.
The Raiders were able to steal the victory because of Baltimore’s struggles, which included two three-and-outs in the fourth quarter.
Despite leading by seven or more scores in the fourth quarter—the biggest amount in the NFL during that time—the Ravens have now dropped 11 games in the last five seasons.
On the other hand, the Raiders had previously dropped 49 straight games when they were behind by ten points or more in the fourth quarter.
