For many years to come, historians and league supporters will debate this, but Irving has also been asked it.

Some people would say Irving isn’t giving himself enough credit.
There are many who think he’s a top 20 or top 10 point guard.
And many others believe he’s one of the best closers in NBA history with an uncanny ability to score clutch points when his teams need it most.
Last season, Irving scored 25.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists for the Mavericks.
He returned to the Finals for the first time in years, but the Mavericks weren’t able to get the job done and take down the Boston Celtics.
Irving expressed his desire to get better for the upcoming season in response to criticism of his postseason performances.
He still has a few years and a lot of fight left in him, and at thirty-two, he wants to give it his best on the court.
