Celtic have revealed their ‘newest member of staff’ – and it’s a Hollywood star.
Prior to Celtic Park’s Champions League matchup with Slovan Bratislava last night, James McAvoy was introduced as the team’s “new” social media administrator on social media.
The 45-year-old actor was born in Glasgow and is well-known for his roles in HouseBroken, Speak No Evil, and X-men.
The beloved celebrity and ardent Celtics supporter was seen sharing a photo of the players coming at the stadium before the game on the team’s social media channels in a humorous video that was uploaded on X.
After that, the camera went back to James, who was beaming, and the post’s caption read, “An admin upgrade for the UCL.”
When the video ends, the celebrity raises his fist and exclaims, “Mon the Hoops.”
It comes after we reported how Sir Rod Stewart has been pictured in the stands at Celtic’s Champion’s League match last night.
The clash seen the Glasgow side win 5 – 1, with goals from Liam Scales, Kyogo Furuhashi, Arne Engels, Daizen Maeda, and Adam Idah.
