Before the next international break starts on October 10, Everton is ready to decide on Sean Dyche’s future, according to HITC.
On September 21, HITC sources revealed that although the Goodison Park administration is still outwardly supporting Dyche, internal discussions are taking place on possible successors in the event that they decide to let Dyche leave.
The Toffees have lost four straight Premier League games due to a dismal start to the new season; in their previous two games, they have lost 3-2 despite leading 2-0.
Sean Dyche is on borrowed time at Everton
Despite having a stellar record in the dugout at Goodison Park, Dyche appears to be in danger given his team’s current position at the bottom of the Premier League standings, with only four goals scored and thirteen allowed.
The four goals the Blues have scored have also proven to be in vain; they have just galvanized Aston Villa and Bournemouth into life as they have both managed to pull off comeback victories.
Dyche’s tenure as manager may come to an end if the Blues suffer a similar collapse, or anything of the kind, in their next game against Leicester on September 21 [Paul Merson, 19 September].
The indicators for Dyche don’t seem good either [Tony Scott, September 19]. His team has let up more goals than any other Premier League team and plays appalling football when they aren’t winning.
It now falls on Dyche to ensure that Leicester marks the beginning of yet another incredible comeback, since it may be his last game in the dugout as Everton’s manager.
In unrelated Everton news, a TalkSPORT commentator outlined the reasons he believes the team’s extensive injury list is hurting them.
