According to Il Corriere dello Sport, new Everton owner Dan Friedkin is considering hiring Maurizio Sarri as the new Toffees’ coach.
Roma President and owner Friedkin announced the Everton takeover earlier this week, and according to the latest report of Il Corriere dello Sport, he is moving quickly to turn things around at Goodison Park as the team sit 19th in the Premier League table.
The Rome-based paper claims that the American billionaire is considering hiring Sarri, the former manager of Lazio, Juventus, and Napoli, as Everton’s new head coach.

The Italian tactician, a 2019 Europa League winner with Chelsea, is without a club after resigning from Lazio in March 2023.
In a recent interview, he said he wanted to return to coaching before January and was waiting for an adequate project.
Corriere dello Sport claims that Sarri would bring fitness coach Daniele Tognaccini to Everton. The pair already worked together at Juventus. Tognaccini is one of the best-known fitness coaches in Italy and the man who founded MilanLab back in the 90s.
