Should Celtic’s Daizen Maeda have had an extra goal vs St Johnstone

Before the players left for Germany, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers stopped by to the surprise of the patrons of a well-known eatery.

He posed outside with the staff of Malaga Tapas at Bearsden, who are football idiots who often post photos of themselves posing in Spain jerseys. One of them snapped a fast photograph of him.

The Celtic boss is now heading out to Germany ahead of their huge match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Posting an image on their official Instagram, restaurant boss Jamie Gonzalez-Bradley thanked him for visiting, writing: “Gracias por tu visita Familia!”

The Northern Irish boss, who speaks a little Spanish himself, would have loved the gesture, we’re sure.

He then posed with Jamie and his brother Antonio who also works at the restaurant.

Bridges took to social media after the photo was posted to say: “Here, this place was amazing. Brilliant feed for my Maw’s birthday.

Earlier this Scottish stand-up comedian and Celtic fan Kevin Bridges also popped in for a visit, the Clydebank comedian praised the team for providing him and his family with a “brilliant feed”.
