Professor Green will be releasing new material next year after spending time raising his three-year-old son Slimane.
Next year, Professor Green plans to release new songs.
After concentrating on raising his three-year-old son Slimane, whom he has with actress partner Karima McAdams, the 40-year-old rapper is about to make a comeback with new music. He hasn’t released any new music since the 2019 album “Matters Of The Heart.”
Green, whose actual name is Stephen Manderson, stated in The Sun’s Bizarre column: “We’re putting out new songs next year.
“A lot has been going on, really. With all I’ve been recording, there are actually possibly three albums out there at this point.
“I composed the song ‘Blue Blanket’ specifically for Slim. That was written in 2014, although at the time I was childless. After I had him, I could complete the record.”
Green just released a new song titled “Moola In My Wallet (Satnav Rap),” and he discussed how Slim, his harshest critic, gave it his blessing.
“I put on some of my new clothes in the car, and Slim’s like, ‘Nah,'” the man stated.
“He adores this, which I played. He provides me with the raw truth. With children, there are no airs and graces.
“Once I release a song, it belongs to someone else.” However, I have to listen to it constantly because he wants to hear it, so I’m singing along as I go.”
“It came together in 45 minutes from start to finish,” Green continued. Rather of spending a lot of money on the movie, I just asked Lawrence, a fantastic filmmaker I know, if he could shoot me while I was driving.”
The ‘Read All About It’ hitmaker is thrilled that his music continues to resonate with young people even after almost ten years since the publication of his debut album.
“I performed a freshers’ gig in Lancaster, the kind of gigs I’ve been doing for fifteen years,” Green remembered.
“And I said, ‘When this album came out, you guys were three years old.'” They f****** had it when I started making jokes about them and calling them a bunch of snowflakes.
“Like the youngsters I performed for this year, this generation of eighteen-year-olds is f****** nasty.
“As an artist, to know you still have the youth is really important.”
