One manager in particular has now entered the running for a possible Everton position.
After being fired by Stoke City, Steve Schumacher stated in an interview with 72+: The EFL Podcast that managing Everton is his desire.
He stated.
“I didn’t leave thinking I needed a vacation. If anything, I think it’s given me a little more fire in my gut and more gasoline.
“My dream job would be to manage Everton in the Premier League.”
Who is Steven Schumacher?
Actually a product of the Everton system, Steven Schumacher managed the Under-11 team.
His most recent position as manager was at Stoke City, when he was fired after just 32 games and 1.42 points per game.
Prior to that, he did have success with Plymouth Argyle, earning a promotion to the Championship while managing 108 games and a solid 1.83 points per game.
There is little possibility of an Everton job for him in the foreseeable future unless he makes significant progress.
