Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio State football team defeated Iowa 35-7 on Saturday, moving up to No. 2 in the AP Top 25.

Following Alabama’s defeat at Vanderbilt, which knocked them out of the top slot, the Buckeyes advanced. As a consequence, Texas took back the top rank.

Oregon is ranked third after defeating Michigan State on Friday to maintain its perfect record. It sets up the Buckeyes and Ducks for a top-three meeting on Saturday in Eugene, Oregon.

Together with Oregon and Ohio State, Penn State makes up three of the top four teams from the Big Ten. The top-ranked team is Texas.

Michigan’s defeat at Washington caused them to fall from No. 10 to No. 24.
