FOX5: LAS VEGAS, Nev. DT Matthew Butler was added by the Las Vegas Raiders to the active roster from the practice squad, the team announced on Thursday.

After being selected by the team in the fifth round (175th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft, Butler is now in his third season with the Silver and Black.

In eight career games, the 6-3, 290-pound defensive lineman has tallied six tackles (one solo) and 0.5 sacks.

DT Zach Carter has also been added by the Raiders to the practice squad. Originally selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round in the 2022 draft, Carter has participated in 37 games with 16 starts, with a total of 55 tackles (22), one sack, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and two passes defenced in his career.
