Ahead of Tottenham’s Premier League matchup with West Ham, Ange Postecoglou has released the most recent information regarding injuries.
Richarlison and Son Heung-min are expected to be included in Tottenham’s squad for their Premier League match against West Ham on Saturday, according to Ange Postecoglou. Richarlison has only played twice this season because to a calf injury, and Son has missed Spurs’ last three games because of a hamstring injury he suffered against Qarabag in the Europa League.
After arriving back to Hotspur Way early from his international duties, there are still doubts over Lucas Bergvall’s fitness to play. The Swedish player was sidelined for his nation’s match against Estonia due to a “minor injury”.
Wilson Odobert is another player who is still out for Tottenham, having sustained a hamstring injury early in the team’s Carabao Cup victory over Coventry City in September. Postecoglou has mentioned that the winger may resume training with the first team next week, citing the player’s recent strong play.
In an interview with SPURSPLAY, the Australian stated, “Sonny and Richy have done some good work and trained with the group which is a real positive for us.” “Hopefully, Sonny would handle this international break well and be prepared, and Richy has put in some excellent effort. I hope both can make it this weekend.
“We’re still waiting on a few of the international guys to return into the building, but I believe most of them made it through.” The only other person to have any discomfort was Lucas, but we hope he will be well.
“It’s really only Wilson, who has also done some good work in the last couple of weeks, and hopefully he joins the main group at some point next week.”
