At the moment, Newcastle United’s relationship with Paul Mitchell and Eddie Howe is crucial.
But from a very reliable source, I’m hearing that it’s totally broken.
The shifting sands of power that have poured through the outstretched hands of the man who, along with Amanda Staveley, should be regarded as the club’s savor are undoubtedly to blame for the concord that has vanished from St. James’ Park’s corridors.
As is his wish, Eddie Howe, who was once so important to everything, is now a more marginalized person. You might think that this is shocking considering how much this individual has accomplished for the team in such a short period of time.
But as everyone is aware, Paul Mitchell is a new boy on the block.
According to extremely reliable sources, he isn’t exactly Howe’s biggest admirer. Actually, the exact reverse is true. Why?
Considering that neither he nor the club’s owners want Eddie Howe at the top, at least not in the long run.
Although there is still a lot of admiration for what he has accomplished, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the former Bournemouth player’s days at St. James’ Park are numbered if Paul Mitchell has his way.
Would the club suffer as a result of this?
Definitely, considering how poorly the playing squad would react to the news.
But considering that Mitchell’s connection with Howe seems to be as fragile as a piece of undercooked filo dough, it feels like a price he will be more than willing to pay. And from what I understand, he doesn’t care who is aware of that.
We won’t really know what this man brought to Newcastle United until he leaves, which seems to be a matter of when rather than if.
Did he act as the binding agent?
But is he the one who is keeping the side back?
Most importantly, who will take his place?
The management pool is currently a shark-infested one rather than a vibrant one.
I won’t speculate as to who might be the best person to lead this team; that will become clear in due time. However, I would advise all Newcastle United supporters to get ready.
