We are pleased to announce that Wattyl Paint will be a key sponsor of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for at least the next two years.
Wattyl will make history of their own by joining the Club ahead of its 90th anniversary. This will be their first collaboration with an Australian sports team, and they will be prominently displayed on the Bulldogs’ NRL shirt sleeves.
Since 1915, Wattyl, one of the biggest architectural and decorative paint companies in Australia, has been known for enabling people to paint with pride by providing top-notch supplies and knowledgeable guidance.
Wattyl’s managing director, Matt Crossingham, expressed his excitement at the momentous news, pointing to the Bulldogs’ strong legacy and commitment to the community as key elements in establishing the collaboration.
“After seeing the Bulldogs’ strong values as The Family Club, we instantly felt aligned with them,” Mr. Crossingham stated.
Alongside the Bulldogs, we’re excited to paint the town blue and white, and we’re honored to be associated with a club with such a rich history.
“It was a fantastic chance to contribute to their 90th anniversary celebration with a fresh coat of paint.”
Aaron Warburton, the chief executive officer of the Bulldogs, agreed with Mr. Crossingham.
He declared, “Wattyl is a well-known brand throughout Australia, and we are honored to be the first sports team in the nation to collaborate with this venerable company.”
Like the Bulldogs, Wattyl’s identity is heavily rooted on community and heritage. It was essential to collaborate with a company that prioritizes these principles, and we’re happy to have Wattyl join us in celebrating our 90th anniversary and beyond.”
