Journalist Alan Nixon claims that after Dan Friedkin’s takeover is finalised, Everton will approach former West Ham United manager David Moyes.

Some members of the potential new Everton ownership are reportedly partial to the Scottish tactician since he is familiar with the team and knows what it takes to be successful in the Premier League.

Moyes is apparently interested in returning to Goodison Park if he believes the position is “right for him” and if he is persuaded by the new owners’ goals and financial plan.

As pressure mounts on Sean Dyche, Moyes has emerged as a viable option because of “what he brings at this time,” even though Friedkin is rumoured to have other possibilities in mind.

Despite having a one-man advantage for the whole second half, the Toffees were unable to secure their third victory of the season on Saturday, drawing 0-0 with Brentford.

Everton had numerous chances to break their losing streak, but they had trouble up front, managing only five of their 27 shots on goal against Mark Flekken.

After the goalless draw, Dyche’s team has lost their past four games and now has a demanding schedule that includes six Premier League games against Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

A managerial change at Goodison Park may soon be inevitable as Friedkin’s takeover draws to a close, with Moyes quite likely to succeed Dyche in the middle of the season.

The ‘amazing’ former manager of Manchester United had a prosperous ten years on Merseyside before leaving for Old Trafford in 2013.

He turned Everton from bottom-half losers into a reliable top-eight team during his tenure there, and in his final season in 2012–13, the team nearly qualified for the Champions League.

The 61-year-old is amenable to taking over at Everton, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, and has been strongly linked to a return to the Premier League this season.
