After their Everton takeover is finished, the Friedkin Group seems to have a chance to replace Sean Dyche with Maurizio Sarri.

The former Burnley player is under pressure since they have only won two of their first 12 Premier League games.
According to reports, the Friedkin Group has long admired Sarri but was unable to get him because of his connections to bitter rivals Lazio.

In an interview with the British Press on Saturday, November 30, the Italian acknowledged that he would be amenable to going back to England, thus the Blues’ potential new owners may soon have their man.

Everton should replace Sean Dyche with Maurizio Sarri

Following last Saturday’s (November 23) 0-0 draw with Brentford, the Blues have only won seven league games since December 23 of last year.

Under the 53-year-old, the Toffees have maintained 22 clean sheets in 68 Premier League games. Although this could appear to be a good statistic, it seems like his team is content to settle for draws rather than using it as a springboard to improve and win games.

This season, it hasn’t changed. Dyche is concerned because the Blues have only scored in two of their past six games while keeping four clean sheets.

After they finish their takeover, the Friedkin Group will make a significant choice regarding the manager’s future, making it one of their top objectives.

There is little reason not to replace him with Sarri when his contract ends in the summer.

Sarri is known for playing fast-paced, attacking football, so it seems sense that he would take Dyche’s position and bring excitement back to Everton.
