London, England – West Ham United star player Michail Antonio has expressed his frustration and disappointment at the criticism he has been receiving from some of the club’s fans on social media.

Despite scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists in 18 appearances for West Ham this season, Antonio has been subjected to abuse and criticism from some supporters, who have been questioning his work rate and commitment to the team.

“We did our best, but it seems like it’s never good enough for some people,” Antonio said in an interview. “I’m tired of being criticized and abused on social media. It’s affecting my mental health and my confidence on the pitch.”

Antonio, who has been one of West Ham’s most consistent players this season, revealed that he has been trying to ignore the negativity and focus on his game, but it’s getting harder to do so.

“I just wish some of our fans could be more supportive and understanding,” he said. “We’re doing our best out there, and we need their support, not their criticism and abuse.”

West Ham United has released a statement condemning the abuse and criticism aimed at Antonio, and the club has urged its supporters to be more respectful and supportive of their players.

“We stand with Michail Antonio and condemn the abuse and criticism he has been subjected to,” the club said. “We urge our supporters to be more respectful and supportive of our players, and to remember that they are human beings who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.”
