Nuamah is reportedly one step away from joining Everton, who are in advanced talks to sign the winger from Lyon this month.
Since only Southampton has scored fewer goals in the Premier League this season, Moyes will be looking to increase Everton’s attacking options.
In addition to expanding their choices, singing Nuamah might deal John Textor another setback at Lyon.
John Textor will not want Ernest Nuamah to leave for Everton
Since making a move for the Ghanaian back in the summer, Everton has had a long-standing interest in Nuamah.
To the joy of the club owner, Nuamah’s attempt to join the Premier League was unsuccessful, and he stayed at Lyon.
Speaking in September of last year, Textor said that he was happy to see Nuamah stay at Lyon after his attempt to transfer to England failed.
“I quickly got in touch with Ernest [Nuamah], I apologized, and I learned a lot,” Textor said during a press conference.

According to L’equipe, the player believed he was being kicked out of the team for a move he didn’t want.
