The 28-year-old began the scoring on Merseyside as David Moyes’ side thrashed the struggling Spurs.

Everton has opened up a slight cushion on the relegation zone after picking up three points for the first time in 2025, thanks to other results.
Moyes is still looking for January signings at Everton, but the performance showed a lot of improvement under the 60-year-old.

Calvert-Lewin, who scored for the first time since September, may have been one of the most significant improvements.

Many attributed the defeat to the Englishman, whose wasteful finishing allowed an opportunity to slip away.

Calvert-Lewin hasn’t posted anything Everton-related on Instagram in a while, although he did share a photo of himself rejoicing after Sunday’s win.
