Next Monday, Everton will host Liverpool at Goodison Park in their final Merseyside Derby match.
Due to safety concerns, Storm Darragh postponed the Merseyside Derby, which was originally planned for December.
After two months, Everton is in a much better place thanks to David Moyes, who took Sean Dyche’s place.
Prior to Wednesday night’s match, Everton had also managed to pull nine points clear of the relegation zone.

A spot in history is up for grabs for the Everton players who move to their new, cutting-edge stadium in the summer and establish themselves in Goodison’s final derby.
The Toffees now have even more motivation to go for victory next week thanks to Jamie Carragher.
Jamie Carragher shares interesting Everton vs Liverpool verdict
Given the upcoming rivalry next week, Moyes is anticipated to make changes for Everton against Bournemouth this weekend in the FA Cup.
From an Everton standpoint, there is a lot at stake, as a loss could put the Toffees back in the running for relegation.
Carragher acknowledged on Thursday night on Sky Sports that Everton might seriously hurt Liverpool’s chances of winning the championship.
The former Liverpool defender stated, “This has the potential to be a great season; the Premier League’s biggest game of the season is next week.”
Liverpool has been discussing a game-in-hand for almost two months, not because it’s Everton.
“If Liverpool wins, they will have a nine-point lead with 13 or 14 games remaining, which is a significant lead given their current form and the game in hand over Arsenal.”
After Moyes was appointed last month, Arne Slot has already given him accolades.
However, the Toffees will exert every effort to prevent a loss in their final Merseyside Derby on home soil, which would end their time at Goodison Park.
Everton could pull away from the relegation battle
Everton’s season may be completely changed with a victory on Wednesday night.
It might put them ahead of Manchester United in addition to being a statement victory against a Liverpool team that has excelled in the Premier League and Champions League.
With a 12-point lead over the bottom three, Everton would move up to 13th place in the table and catch up in games played with three more points.

Nottingham 24 4 5 15 25 53-28 17
Although Moyes has been vague about the possibility of relegation, the Toffees would be more safer with a 12-point lead.
Perhaps the best of all would be to keep the Reds from gaining bragging rights in the final Goodison derby.
