Mathys Tel has opened up about his start at Tottenham and his first goal for the club, which came in a defeat at Aston Villa.

Mathys Tel has revealed he is “not scared about the future” after tasting defeat in his first two Tottenham games. Joining on loan from Bayern Munich on the final day of the January transfer window with an option to make the move permanent, the Frenchman debuted off the bench against Liverpool on Thursday evening. Tel was then handed a start in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
