Dr. Rajpal Brar said Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the striker for Everton, is out with a Grade 3 thigh injury.

According to the injury expert, it is better than anticipated because it is not the Grade 4 rupture that was most feared.

The England international would have required surgery if that had been the case, but currently, it is not.

The 27-year-old Calvert-Lewin is still anticipated to remain sidelined for a few more weeks.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has taken a while to recover from the injury

About Calvert-Lewin, Dr. Brar, a physical therapy and sports scientist specialist, stated in an exclusive interview with Goodison News: “I believe the injury is a Grade 3 thigh injury rather than the feared Grade 4 rupture which might have required surgery but it’s not needed now.”

These can take significant time to recover from so the timeline aligns with that.

“At the very least, he will be out for a few more weeks.”

Since the game on January 25, when the Toffees defeated Brighton 1-0, the Englishman has been sidelined.
Prior to this setback, he had been injury-free this Bseason after battling fitness concerns in previous years.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin may not be at Everton next season

The striker for the Toffees is no closer to signing a new contract as his current one expires at the end of the current campaign.

For whatever reason, Calvert-Lewin is doubtful despite the manager change and the team’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock for the upcoming season.

Asking him for a firm response could be a good idea, and if he declines to commit, the team can start looking for other options.

The Friedkin Group is anticipated to release a sizable transfer budget in the summer, and David Moyes would require a goal scorer with a track record.

Even though Beto has displayed moments of genius, he is more effective as a reserve striker because he cannot be counted on to score 15–20 league goals annually.

It’s unclear who Moyes would choose, but Kevin Thelwell might already be considering strikers who might be willing to relocate to Merseyside this summer.
