A new episode of Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham with our Spurs correspondents Rob Guest and Alasdair Gold is coming up this week.
Players are recovering from injuries for Tottenham’s Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday, according to manager Ange Postecoglou.
The Spurs head coach has finally had some bodies back in training this week after almost three months with 10 or more players absent for most matches. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are two players he hasn’t had in a while due to difficulties.
football.london has asked Postecoglou about both players in recent weeks, with the Australian describing both as either ‘slow healing’ or ‘slow burners’. That has left Tottenham fans frustrated with the lack of clarity over the two key centre-backs, who have both returned twice to action only to head back to the treatment room.
Postecoglou will hopefully provide more clarity at his press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon and football.london will be among those putting the questions to him. Our Spurs correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discussed the two players as well as the upcoming match against United and the fan protest planned for the day in the latest episode of their podcast Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham. The duo also discussed the latest takeover talk surrounding chairman Daniel Levy as well as the cup exits to Liverpool and Aston Villa.
