The actress believes that this storyline would be an excellent way to reintroduce her character, especially given her new circumstances as a single mother.
Although Flanagan is eager to return to Coronation Street, she revealed that soap bosses have not approached her about a comeback. Despite this, she remains optimistic, stating that she would “absolutely love” to go back to the show. Flanagan’s last appearance on Coronation Street was in 2018, when she took maternity leave for her second child, Delilah.

She stated, “You have to go back if they ask you. It’s up to the producer, it’s not really up to you. You have to be asked, you can’t just turn up.”
