According to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports, the Browns, Texans, and Titans—who control the top three picks in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft—have been getting trade interest for their selections.

According to Schultz, teams who trade up are anticipated to pursue edge rushers and wide receivers, as both position groupings are thought to have “tangible drop-offs” on Day 2. However, front offices in Tennessee, Houston, and Cleveland will need to balance the risk of missing their top target against the benefit of moving back.

According to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, the Browns are receiving calls for the 33rd pick. They could trade down and still acquire one or both of their top second-round targets because they already hold the 36th pick from their trade with the Jaguars. According to Wolfe and Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, those targets are LSU TE Mason Taylor and Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson. Pauline says that if the Browns make a trade back, they might want to avoid the Jets, who would probably select Taylor at 42.

According to Wolfe, the Browns have also worked hard on Day 2 quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, and Tyler Shough, but they might hold off on selecting one until their third-round picks at 67 or 94.

It’s possible that the Titans and Texans are more worried about losing out on their desired player if they trade back. According to Pauline, both clubs are considering selecting a wide receiver with their second-round choice; Tennessee may target Luther Burden of Missouri and Jayden Higgins of Iowa State. Houston may still utilize its top 2025 pick to strengthen their O-line after trading back with the Giants, despite the fact that it was generally anticipated that they would spend their first-round pick on an offensive lineman.
