Netflix Confirms Release Date for Slough Town FC’s First-Ever Documentary

 

Slough, Berkshire – May 3, 2025   The wait is over. Netflix has officially announced that its brand-new sports documentary series, “Rebels: Heart of Slough”, following the inspiring journey of Slough Town FC, will premiere globally on Friday, September 12, 2025.

 

This marks the first time the club has ever featured in a major documentary and the buzz in and around Arbour Park is already electric. The six-part series promises an unfiltered look at life inside one of England’s most passionate non-league football clubs, with cameras capturing everything from the dugout to the dressing room.

 

Netflix dropped a teaser earlier today, offering glimpses of home matchdays, emotional player interviews, and a powerful voiceover stating: “This isn’t just about football. This is about pride, people, and the badge.” The clip ends with a slow pan across a packed Arbour Park, with fans singing at full volume.

 

Club co-managers Scott Davies and Lee Togwell shared their excitement:

“This is something really special. Our story is one of resilience on and off the pitch. To have Netflix telling it on a global stage is huge for the club, for the town, and for the fans who’ve stood by us through everything.”

 

Produced by the acclaimed team behind Sunderland ’Til I Die, Welcome to Wrexham, and Drive to Survive, the series aims to give viewers a raw, emotional insight into what it truly means to represent a club like Slough Town a team built on loyalty, sweat, and a whole lot of heart.
